Field Experience #9 & #10: Fermentation Collaboration will be led by Berlin-based artist Anaïs Hazo and Minneapolis-based artist Miriam Karraker. It will take place on the weekend of Oct 12 and 13 at Maison Bodega. 

The first event on Saturday, Oct 12 from 2:00-4:00 will be a fermentation workshop led by Anaïs Hazo. We will learn how to transform the fall harvest into lacto-fermented vegetables and she will share philosophies around fermentation that are relevant to art practice. The second event on Sunday, Oct 13 from 2:00-4:00 will be an experimental fermentation tasting and writing workshop led by Miriam Karraker. We will taste fermented foods made by Anaïs and Miriam, and work through a series of writing exercises to explore taste through language. Register here, limited to 20 people (SOLD OUT)

As part of the collaboration, Anaïs and Miriam have been working on a written correspondence about fermentation and collaborative language. A zine will be shared with participants, then a 2nd edition will be completed based on the workshops.
