Reform CPH is a cabinetry company in Copenhagen, who does editorial-style storytelling about life inside their customers kitchens. Our creative director Liz was asked to contribute to their Uncomplicated Recipes along with design heroes like Zsuzsanna Toth and Julia Heifer, the founders of Gaia Feed, Photographer Adrianna Glaviano and everyone’s favorite food Lalia Gohar, among others.


 
 

GARDEN TOMATO TOAST : A perfect savory breakfast.

sourdough table bread / we love laune and bakersfield

clove of garlic

butter / we love hope creamery

heirloom tomatoes 

flaky salt

pepper

fresh herbs: dill, purple basil

olive oil / we love kaia

--------

1. Slice table bread into large sturdy slices, about 1/2-inch thick

2. Toast in dry cast iron pan on stovetop

3. With your fingers, rub the top of each toast with a garlic clove. You will see the cloves get smaller as the garlic is dispersed, pushed into the bread.

4. Spread butter onto garlicky toast and place on plate

5. Cut tomatoes into slices and layer 

6. Sprinkle with flaky salt and fresh cracked pepper

7. Pile with fresh herbs 

8. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon zest if feeling fan
