TRAVEL PORTLAND X CHEF’S FEED

 

We worked with Chef’s Feed and Travel Portland on an activation to promote tourism centered around the growing food scenes in both Minneapolis + Portland, Oregon. We helped connect Top Chef contestant and Executive Chef of Departures and James Beard-nominated Chef Erick Harcey on a two-part promotion.


First, chef Gourdet showed chef Harcey his favorite restaurants around Portland from bim bap bowls King Jong’s Smokehouse to ice cream at Salt & Straw. Next, chef Gourdet flew to Minneapolis to collaborate with chef Harcey on a special eight course Chef’s Table experience for local influencers and press showcasing ingredients, wine and beer from all over Oregon.

In Portland, no square inch is wasted. Chefs pair up to create meals greater than the sum of their parts. Chocolatiers rub elbows with coffee-roasters. Soft-serve servers tap into the best of the Oregon flavor universe, and hidden farms pop up in neighborhoods: In the midst of this creative renaissance is a city where anything becomes possible.
